AGUSTA RENOIR
Auguste Renoir was
born 1841 in Limoges and started his artistic career as a porcelain painter. In
Paris he became friends with the impressionists around Claude Monet. Flowers,
children and young women soon became Renoirs († 1919) favourite motives. Full
of light and grace his works are an eternal hymn to beauty and joy of life.
